Affiliate FAQ

How much do I earn?
20% of what your referred business actually pays Service Blue, on every payment — net of any refunds or credits. No caps on how many businesses you refer.
How long does the commission last?
You earn on every month they stay, for up to 12 months from their first payment. After 12 months the commission on that customer ends. It also stops early if they cancel (and doesn't restart if they later come back).
What counts as my referral?
Any business that clicks your link and then signs up and pays within 60 days is credited to you. If two affiliates refer the same business, the first link wins. The business pays full price — being referred gives no discount.
When and how do I get paid?
Your commission accrues as your referral pays, and becomes payable after about a 60-day hold (30 once you've built a clean history) that clears the refund window. Once your balance is over the $50 minimum and your W-9 is on file, it's included in the next payout — sent to your PayPal (the email you signed up with). Add your W-9 on your dashboard to get paid.
Is there a minimum payout?
Yes — $50. If your balance is under $50 when a payout runs, it simply carries forward to the next one.
Why is there a hold before I'm paid?
Commission is held for a short window (about 60 days, dropping to 30 once you've built a clean history) so it clears the customer's refund and chargeback window. If a referred payment is refunded or charged back, the matching commission is reversed.
Do I need to give tax information?
Yes, before any payout. U.S. affiliates submit a Form W-9 (non-U.S. a W-8BEN). If you're paid $2,000 or more in a year we issue a 1099-NEC. Commissions are taxable income and you're responsible for the taxes on them.
Can I refer myself or my own business?
No. Self-referrals and self-purchases don't earn commission and can end your participation.
Can I promote by email or text blasts?
One-to-one personal recommendations are fine. Bulk email or SMS campaigns need our written approval first — the law (CAN-SPAM/TCPA) holds Service Blue responsible for messages promoting it, so we have to sign off before any mass send.
What's not allowed?
No bidding on "Service Blue" or our brand terms in paid search, no coupon/discount-site abuse, no cookie stuffing, fake clicks, cloaking, typosquatting, or false claims about the product. And per FTC rules, you must clearly disclose that your link is a paid/affiliate link. Full rules are in the Affiliate Agreement.
